Abstract

Emerging from the Western Australian School Effectiveness Study (WASES), is a story of a high school in a small rural town undergoing changes and improvements. Some change came from within - some change came from forces outside of the school's control. Of great interest here, is a narrative about how the people working in and attending this school absorbed the changes around them and became different people. This story is about the flrst steps in a journey of change.
